Accommodation
Corner cottage is a superbly appointed 300 year old period stone
cottage with exposed beams, stonework and a galleried landing. It has 1 en-suite twin
room, 1 en-suite king room, 1 double four-poster room with private shower room. Each
bedroom has its own colour TV. All linen and towels are provided. There is a beautiful
lounge with comfy 3 piece suite, colour TV and DVD/video. The elegant dining room seats up
to 8 and has a micro CD system.
The beamed, dark oak fitted kitchen has an electric cooker gas hob, fridge/
freezer, washer/dryer, microwave and dishwasher. Gas central heating throughout. Outside
there is a south-facing patio with table, chairs and barbecue. parking for three cars
outside the cottage.

Location
Situated in a peaceful location in the centre of the premier Peak
village of Ashford in the Water. Local pubs, restaurant, village shop and tea-rooms are
all within walking distance. The gem of the Peakland market towns Bakewell with excellent
shopping and markets is just 2 miles away.
There
are plenty of attractions to visit, from the excitement of Alton Towers to the peaceful
settings of nearby Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. For lovers of the outdoors the area has
everything walking, cycling, fishing and more!. Miles of cycle trails can be explored on foot
or bicycle (Cycle hire available locally) The Dark Peak moors and White Peak's limestone dales
are all within easy reach. |
