Location
Situated on the green in the small traditional Derbyshire village
of Monyash set only 5 miles from the attractive market town of Bakewell and 8 miles from
the spa town of Buxton. An ideal base to visit the Peak District. Lathkill Dale and stone
circle at Arbor Low are both nearby. The local pub and village tea-rooms are only a short
walk. There are plenty of attractions to visit, from the excitement of Alton Towers to the
peaceful settings of nearby Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall.
For
lovers of the outdoors the area has everything walking, cycling, fishing and more! Miles of
cycle trails can be explored on foot or bicycle (cycle hire available locally) The Dark Peak
moors and White Peak's limestone dales are all within easy reach. |
